Self Check In Screens
In our main reception we have two Self Check In screens. This allows you to sign in without the need to queue at the reception area.
Home Visits
Home visits can be arranged for housebound patients who for medical reasons are unable to attend the surgery. Patients are requested to telephone before 11.00am if a home visit is required for that day.
Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to home visits. Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time it takes to do a home visit.
24 Hour Telephone System
When phoning the surgery you will have two options. Option One - to use the automated appointment service, and Option Two - to be put through to a receptionist
The telephone system enables patients to make pre-bookable appointments with a Doctor, up to a month in advance, and also check, amend or cancel any other appointments at the surgery. This gives patients greater control over booking appointments.
The line is now open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you no longer have to wait for the surgery to open to book your appointment.
N.B Only Doctor's appointments can be pre-booked through the automated system. For Nurses or same day appointments please speak to reception via the telephone, in person or online
Please note this is for a pre-bookable appointment not for same day appointments. To book a same day appointment please speak to a receptionist.
Cancelling Your Appointment
Appointments are in high demand. Appointments are wasted each week when some patients fail to turn up.
If you cannot attend your appointment or no longer require it, please inform us using our 24 hour automated telephone system on 01509 508412, as soon as possible, as this will allow someone else to be seen by the doctor or nurse.
You can cancel appointments through our online booking system. See below for details. Once you have an account click here to cancel your appointment using SystmOnline.
