1) Clinical Pharmacists:
Our Clinical Pharmacists utilize their expert knowledge of medicines for specific disease areas to assess and treat patients. They specialize in caring for individuals with chronic illnesses and conduct thorough medication reviews. Additionally, they assist with all prescription requests, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
2) Practice Nurses:
Our Practice Nurses are involved in various aspects of patient care throughout different stages of life. From offering family planning advice and childhood immunizations to managing long-term health concerns like Diabetes and Hypertension, they provide comprehensive and personalized care. Practice Nurses play a vital role in promoting health and wellbeing.
3) Physician Associates:
Our skilled Physician Associates are capable of reviewing and treating a wide range of conditions. They are able to make referrals and conduct investigations as needed. While they cannot currently prescribe medications, they work under the supervision of a GP partner at our practice to ensure high-quality care.
4) Health Care Assistants:
Our dedicated Health Care Assistants provide crucial support to our practice team. They assist in delivering treatments, conducting blood tests, promoting preventive care, and educating patients on various health-related matters. Their valuable contributions enhance the overall patient experience.
5) Social Prescribers:
Our Social Prescribers play a vital role in directing patients towards a comprehensive range of local services that promote physical and mental wellbeing. They can guide individuals to resources such as walking groups, arts services, assistance with benefits, and healthy eating programs. By addressing social determinants of health, they contribute to overall wellbeing.
6) Doctors in Training:
As a training practice, we have a number of doctors who are training to become future GPs. These competent doctors work independently under regular supervision and receive ongoing training within our practice. They bring fresh perspectives and contribute to the high standard of care we provide.

Musculoskeletal (MSK) Therapy
Our MSK Physiotherapy Service provides outpatient clinics in community hospitals and health centres across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and aims to help those who are affected by a musculoskeletal disorder of an acute or chronic nature.
Care is primarily delivered on a one-to-one basis with a named physiotherapist and can be delivered via Telephone, Video or Face to Face Consultation. Care may be provided through a class-based format where this is considered to offer greater potential for improvement. In addition to registered staff the delivery of care is also supported by physiotherapy technical instructors.
Referral criteria
If you have pain relating to muscles or joints or have limited function or pain following an injury, physiotherapy may be appropriate.
Criteria exclusion
Unfortunately our service does not treat neurological or respiratory conditions. We are also unable to treat you if you are under 16 years of age or would like to be treated in your own home.
How to access this service
You can self refer into our service by calling us on 0300 300 0046. It helps speed up your registration if you have your NHS Number available. If you do not have your NHS Number you can use this NHS online service to locate it.
For Health Care Professionals; we accept referrals via PRISM, SystmOne E-Referral or email a referral form to us (contact details below).
Our service operates Monday to Friday (please note smaller clinic sites may not operate every day). Opening hours for appointments vary by site and are normally between 8am and 4pm.
