Update on Mounjaro Posted or Updated on 3 Feb 2026

As many will be aware the national press has reported that prescribing of Mounjaro or Tirzepatide will be available from today in General Practice. 

This is not currently available in LLR. The LMC is working with the ICB to develop a LES, this is working with the ICB to develop a LES, this is anticipated to be available in August at the earliest. 

We recognise this will create questions from patients to the practice, so the following document will hopefully answer some questions you may have.
